Procedure for Subscription
You may obtain a new PSTN connection from any of our Customer Service Centre / Franchisees Outlets by filling the Customer Agreement Form available at all these outlets after producing original CNIC Card along with an attested copy of CNIC. Following are the requirements for acquiring a new PSTN landline connection:
- Individual desiring to get a new connection must visit our Customer Service Centre / Franchisee Outlet by himself.
- The individual will be provided with a Customer Agreement Form which will be filled by the subscriber deposited with the sales representative along with a copy of CNIC.
- Sales representative will verify the customer’s ID card and information provided by the customer in the Customer Agreement Form.
Charges for new connection are Rs. 750/- .
Feasibility study for the new connection will be carried out by SCO technical teams.
If feasible, telephone will be installed within two working days after verification of information provided
by the applicant from NADRA. Requests for more than one connections at a single location will be fulfilled
when feasibility for as many connections is there.
In cases where an applicant is unable to appear at PSTN Customer Service Centre, his/her
representative may collect the form on his/her behalf. The representative must, however, be in possession of an
authority letter bearing specimen signatures of the bearer duly verified and authorized by the intended subscriber.
In such cases, photocopies of NICs of both will also be deposited along with the application form. The form will
essentially be signed by the individual himself.
